In Side Out is a puzzle inspired by the concept of polarity and its transcendence. Made up of 8 equal pieces, it can be assembled into two distinct cubes: Cube X, resembling an expanded flower, and Cube O, with petals twisted inward. Each cube contains the pattern of the other—Cube X holds the design for Cube O, and Cube O reveals the structure of Cube X. This interplay reflects the duality of existence, where each form contains the essence of the other.
black & white, open & close, hollow & solid… Playing with these reversible concepts while switching a single piece to assemble the polar configuration.
